Description
Formed by nature and reimagined by hand, this sculptural pocket begins with the fallen “boot” of a Royal Palm, naturally shed as the tree grows through Florida’s tropical landscape. Once discarded beneath the canopy, the weathered sheath is carefully gathered and transformed into an organic vessel designed to cradle plants, flowers, and natural arrangements.
The flowing curves, layered fibers, and rich earthy textures of the palm boot give each piece a character entirely its own. Natural variations in shape and color preserve the raw beauty of the material, while thoughtfully placed found shells and coastal treasures gathered along Florida’s shores add another layer of texture, memory, and place. Each shell and reclaimed detail becomes part of the story, turning the piece into both a botanical display and a small collection of the natural world.
At the center, a vibrant Gerber daisy brings a bright burst of color and softness against the weathered palm textures. The contrast between the delicate bloom, sun-worn shells, and rugged organic form creates a balance that feels both coastal and earthy, refined yet completely natural.
Whether displayed with fresh greenery, dried florals, or standing beautifully on its own, each pocket is one of a kind — a handcrafted reflection of Florida’s landscapes, shaped by nature and thoughtfully given new life through reclaimed artistry

An unadorned pocket…
